PC’s in the past have always taken the lead in cost-effective computers by a good few hundred dollars. Pricing? Cost is a huge debate when it comes to getting a computer because you obviously want to get the most of your money. If you’re worried about viruses, get a Mac. It’s definitely not impossible for Mac’s to get a virus, but PC’s are more susceptible.

With Macs, “Malware” is a virus protection software that is already installed. Secure/ viruses? With a PC, virus protection has to be bought and downloaded. PC’s offer more features for the advanced user, but can be frustrating for those who are less tech savvy. The learning curve is fast for the technically challenged.

PC users are those usually in the business world. They have a great platform for originality and design due to the amount of great applications they have (iPhoto, iTunes, etc.). Mac’s appear to be the “cooler” version of a computer for those who are free-thinking. Who uses what? Mac users are usually designers, artists, and individualists. but hey they are going to do exactly what you need them to do for a fraction of the price. PC’s may be a little bit chunkier and don’t have quite as an attractive design…. Apple products basically promote themselves. Apple devices are known for style and elegance and they know their customers associate themselves that way as well. Style/Design- Mac’s seem to be trendier and more modern because they are attractive and well built. They both have a huge variety of what they can do. For the most part, the computer you choose depends on your personal preference and what you are doing with it. Both Mac’s and PC’s have improved greatly over the past few years with more memory, more hard drive space, and much more. We have taken and compared the statistics of the two competing computers. There are always two sides of the argument just like preferring Coke over Pepsi. When it comes to getting a new computer or laptop, you get opinions from both the lover of a Mac and a PC.
